ORDER:

In the GOs 1st and 2nd read above, standing instructions were issued by the Government to be followed during Natural calamities as prescribed by the NDMA regarding maintenance of relief camps, providing food, drinking water, medical care e.t.c., and other procedures to be followed in pre, during and post disaster phases.

2. The Hon'ble Chief Minister has reviewed the Heavy rains situation with the District Collectors and other officials on 31.08.2024.

3. In view of the Heavy rains from 30.08.2024 falling continuously due to depression in Bay of Bengal, Government hereby accord permission to the District Collectors for drawl of amounts specified in the table below under TR-27 to meet the immediate expenses towards rescue and relief operations during Heavy rains.

4. The District Collectors are further informed that the following items shall be given first priority as per minimum standards of relief issued by the NDMA, New Delhi.

1. Evacuation of victims from the flood areas to Relief Camps

2. Safe Drinking Water

3. Food

4. Milk

5. Health Check up and maintenance of Health Camps and

6. Sanitation

5. All the District Collectors in the address entry are directed to hire APSRTC buses for transportation of victims to the relief camps and take steps to pay the amount to the APSRTC. They are also directed to use Government Schools/Colleges as Relief Camps if the cyclone shelters are not enough to accommodate the victims.

6. The District Collectors are further requested to take the assistance of TR&B Department/ Municipal/ Panchayat Raj/ SDRF force for clearance of fallen trees on roads wherever necessary to minimize the expenditure on clearance of roads and optimum utilization of resources available with the department.

7. The District Collectors shall submit DC bills to the drawn money and complete the procedure to the drawn money within 30 days from the date of drawn and to remit the unspent amount if any.
