Samagra Shiksha, A.P SIEMAT Observation of 10th International Day of Yoga i.e IDY-2024, on 21.06.2024 Nomination of State Nodal Officer and District Coordinators - Orders - Issued.

All the District Educational Officers and Additional Project Coordinators in the state are informed that the Department of School Education & Literacy, Ministry of Education, Government of India, New Delhi has stated that 10th International Day of Yoga (IDY) with the theme Yoga for Self and Society is to be celebrated across the world on 21.06.2024. After the initiative of the Hon'ble Prime Minister at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), in 2014, the world has been celebrating the International Day of Yoga (IDY) on the 21st, June every year, since the last nine years. It has helped India to spread the message and benefits of Yoga which is widely acknowledged across the world. The Ministry of Ayush, being the Nodal Ministry for observation of International Day of Yoga', organizes various events for spreading awareness about the practice of Yoga for holistic well-being and sustainable living
In this connection, it is requested to make this event a grand success among school children and issue necessary instructions to encourage the students for participating in the celebration of 10th International Day of Yoga and other yoga related activities in schools. In this regard refer to YouTube videos on common Yoga Protocol in Hindi, English and in 21 regional languages;. Sri A.Subba Reddy, Additional Director, SAMO of Samagra Shiksha is appointed as Nodal Officer for IDY, 2024 and he is requested to follow up the IDY events and upload the same on DOSEL Google spreadsheet- Google link given below.

Keeping this in view, all the District Educational Officers, Additional Project Coordinators of Samagra Shiksha are requested disseminate information to all schools and collect the photos & videos and to upload the same in State google tracker. State google tracker link will be shared.
Hence, all the District Educational Officers & Additional Project Coordinators, Samagra Shiksha are requested to monitor the celebration of 10th International Day of Yoga and other yoga related activities and
upload the Photographs of Events in the below google spread sheets.
