Samagra Shiksha, AP- SIEMAT-Observation of 10th International Day of Yoga i.e IDY-2024 will be held on 21.06.2024 Certain instructions - Issued

Ref: F.N.13-2/2024-IS.4, dt.04.06.2024 of the Government of India, Ministry of Education, Department of School Education & Literacy, New Delhi.
Officers and Additional Project Coordinators, Samagra Shiksha in the state are informed that the Department of School Education & Literacy has stated that they are aware that 21st June is celebrated as International Day of Yoga (IDY) every year. The 10th International Day of Yoga will be celebrated on 21.06.2024. In this regard, M/o AYUSH has planned to celebrate 10th IDY all across the country through various activities related to yoga.
In this regard, M/o AYUSH has requested this Ministry to organize Mass Yoga Demonstration by students, teachers etc., on the IDY and also requested to to arrange arrange Yoga workshops/seminars for teachers, students in schools.
Hence, all the District Educational Officers and Additional Project Coordinators, Samagra Shiksha in the State are requested to organize Yoga camps in each school of all management under their jurisdiction and encourage students and faculty for participating in the celebration of 10th International Day of Yoga and other yoga related activities in their schools.
