Providing 25% Provision for Children Belonging to Disadvantage Groups and Weaker Sections for Admission in Class -I Rc.18021
The Government of Andhra Pradesh have issued orders in G.O.Ms.No. 6, School Education (Prog.II) Department, Dated: 01/02/2024 read with G.O.Ms.No.24, School Education (Prog.II) Department, Dated:26.02.2023 in accordance with the Andhra Pradesh Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Rules, 2010 to implement Section 12(1)(C) of RTE, 2009 by providing 25% of seats in Private Unaided Schools i.e., IB/ICSE/CBSE/State Syllabus for Class-l to the Children belonging to disadvantaged groups and Weaker Sections in the State under RTE Act for the Academic Year 2024-2025.
In this connection, the Samagra Shiksha, Andhra Pradesh have issued the following Notification, in continuation to the G.O.Ms.No. 6, School Education (Prog.II) Department, Dated: 01/02/2024, for admissions to @the children under 12 (1) (C) of the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act 2009 for providing of 25% of seats in Class I, in all Private Un-aided Schools of IB/ICSE/CBSE/State syllabus in the state of Andhra Pradesh for the academic year 2024-25, subject to the outcome of the judgment in the I.A.No.1/2023 in W.P.No. 5264 of 2023 and I.A.No.1/2023 in W.P.No. 5333 of 2023.

In this regard, the norms, Toll free helpline Number (14417), Help Desk Procedure, Eligibility Criteria for Admission, Procedure for submission of online. application, List of Valid documents required, Procedure after the Completion of Admission Process, Appeal Procedure, Mode of reimbursement etc., shall be followed as per the provisions laid down in G.O.Ms.No. 6, School Education (Prog Il dated 1.02.2024 read along with G.O.Ms.No.24, School Education (Prog.II) Department, Dated: 26.02.2023.
All the entitlements and facilities, as mentioned in rule 8(2) of the Andhra Pradesh Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education rules, 2010, shall be provided to the students admitted under RTE 12(1)(C) by the school without any deviation. The managements shall not charge any amount from the parents more than the prescribed as per child expenditure by the Government.
All the Regional Joint Directors of School Education, District Educational Officer and Additional Project Coordinators, Samagra Siksha are directed to take necessary action as per time lines defined above and ensure all private schools should follow the above guide lines any without deviation.
