Helpers for appointment as Anganwadi Workers Orders Issued.

G.O.Ms.No.44 Dated: 20.12.2023. Read the following: -

1. G.O.Ms.No.21 of WD, CW, DW (ICDS.A1) Dept., dt:24.08.2007 

2.G.O.Rt. No. 102 of the Dept., for WCDA&SCs (Prog.1) Dt:28-03-2011.

3. Proposal in the E-File bearing Computer No.2135174/2023 of the Commissioner, WD&CW, Govt., of A.P.

ORDER:-

In the reference 2nd read above, Government have enhanced the age limit to 45 years in respect of Anganwadi Helpers for appointment as Anganwadi Workers, provided she fuifills all other conditions and is physically fit to discharge the duties of Anganwadi Workers including conduct of pre-school and should have been regular in attending her duties without any adverse reports.

2. In the reference 3rd read above, the Commissioner, WD&CW, Govt., of A.P. has furnished a proposal to the Government for enhancement of the upper age limit from 45 years to 50 years in respect of Anganwadi Helpers for appointment as Anganwadi Workers, subject to certain conditions.

3. In the circumstances reported by the Commissioner, Women Development and Child Welfare, Govt., of A.P. in the reference 3rd read above and after careful examination of the proposal, Government hereby enhance the age limit from 45 years to 50 years in respect of Anganwadi Helpers for appointment as Anganwadi Workers duly amending the G.O.Rt. No. 102 Dept., for WCDA&SCs (ICDS.A1) dt: 28.03.2011 and other conditions mentioned in the G.O.Ms.No.21 of WD, CW, DW (ICDS.A1) Dept., dt: 24.08.2007 will remain the same and provided she fulfills all other conditions and is physically fit to discharge the duties of Anganwadi Workers including conduct of pre-school and should have been regular in attending to her duties without any adverse reports.

4. The Commissioner, Women Development & Child Welfare, Govt., of A.P. shall take necessary action accordingly in the matter.
