All the District Educational Officers & Ex-Officio Project Co-ordinators and all the Additional Project Coordinators of Samagra Shiksha in the state are hereby informed that the World Bank, IBRD Group sanctioned a project entitled Supporting Andhra's Learning Transformation project to transform the government schools focusing on improving the quality of teaching and learning in Educational institutions in the State of Andhra Pradesh. The project will be implemented in close collaboration with the Department of School Education (DoSE), Samagra Shiksha, State-level institutions including the SCERT, SIEMAT and district level institutions. The focus will be to achieve the outcomes with an inherent focus on strengthening the people and processes within the public education system..
Further they are informed as per the Disbursement Linked Indicator (DLI) -2 the teaching practices will be measured according to a standardized tool.. In this regard, TEACH tool, a classroom observation tool, will be used to provide individual support and mentorship to teachers at classroom level by selected teacher mentors in the system..
This tool focuses on 3 components of TEACH, to improve teacher-student interactions at a classroom level..
