Update PAN or Form 60 in your PRAN పాన్ నెంబరు లేదా ఫారం 60 ప్రాన్ ఖాతా లో అప్డేట్ చేయుట గురించి

As per the amendments made under Prevention of Money-Laundering (Maintenance of Records) Second Amendment Rules, 2019, PAN or Form 60 is mandatory under NPS. Accordingly, you arerequested to update PAN or Form 60 (for the current Financial Year) in your NPS account (PRANXX4041). Kindly ignore this email, if you have already submitted PAN/Form 60.Update PAN or Form 60 in your PRAN either through Online Mode (instantly in a paperlessmanner by accessing CRA system) or through Offline Mode (by submission of physical request to Nodal Office/POP). Steps for both the alternatives are mentioned below:

A. Online by accessing CRA Website

I. Steps for updation of PAN:

1. Login to CRA website (www.cra-nsdl.com) using login credentials (PRAN as User ID &
Password).
2. Click on ‘Update Personal Details’ under ‘Demographic changes’ menu and select ‘Add/
Update Permanent Account Number (PAN)/Form-60’.
3. Select ‘Permanent Account Number (PAN)’ under ‘Add/ Update PAN/Form-60’ option.
4. Enter PAN and click ‘Generate OTP’. OTP will be sent on the registered mobile number.
5. Enter the OTP and submit the details. On submission of correct OTP, the details registered
under NPS will get authenticated with details available with Income Tax Department
(ITD).
6. On successful authentication, PAN will get updated/seeded under NPS.

II. Steps for updation of Form 60:

In case, you do not have PAN, you need to update Form 60 (for the current Financial Year) by
following below mentioned steps:
1. Login to CRA website (www.cra-nsdl.com) using login credentials (PRAN as User ID &
Password).
2. Click on ‘Update Personal Details’ under ‘Demographic changes’ menu and select ‘Add/
Update Permanent Account Number (PAN)/Form-60’.
3. Select ‘Form-60’ under ‘Add/ Update PAN/Form-60’ option.
4. Upload Form-60 documents as per requirement provided in “Notes Section” and click on
‘Generate OTP’ button. OTP will be sent on the registered mobile number.
5. Enter the OTP and submit the details. On submission of correct OTP, Form 60 will be
updated in the CRA.
B. Physical request to Nodal Office/POPSubmit physical request (i.e. ‘Annexure – S2’ Form, mentioning PAN details) to yourassociated Nodal Office/Point of Presence (POP). Annexure S2 can be downloaded from the‘Forms section’ of CRA website (www.npscra.nsdl.co.in). On receipt of physical request, the Nodal Office/POP will update PAN in the CRA system.

PRAN-PAN LINKING

CRA నూతన ఆదేశాల ప్రకారం CPS ఉద్యోగులందరూ తప్పనిసరిగా, ఈ ఆర్థిక సంవత్సరం చివరిలోపు  తమ PRAN అకౌంట్లకు,  PAN CARD Number తో  Update చేయాలి. గతంలోనే Update చేసినవారు, ఇప్పుడు Update చేయవలసిన అవసరం లేదు. 

 రెండు రకాలుగా PAN Number ను మన PRAN Account కు Update  చేయవచ్చును.

1) ONLINE విధానం:-

www.cra-nsdl.com website లో మన User ID (PRAN Number) , Password తో Login అవ్వాలి.

 'Demographic Changes' Menu Option ను  Click చేసి, అందులో 'Update Personal Details' Option ను Click చేయాలి.

 ఇందులో చివరిగా ఉన్న 'Add/ Update PAN/Form -60' Option పై Click చేయాలి.

అక్కడ మన PAN NUMBER ను Enter చేసి, 'Generate OTP' Option పై Click చేయాలి. మన Registered Mobile Number కు OTP వస్తుంది.

 OTP ను Submit చేయాలి. మీ PAN Details Successful గా నమోదు అవుతాయి.

 2) OFFLINE విధానం:-

 STO Office లో S-2 Form Submit చేయడం:-
Annexure S2 Form ను తీసుకుని, మన Details, PAN Number ను రాసి, DDO తో Signature చేయించి, STO OFFICE లో Submit చేయడం ద్వారా, మన PAN NUMBER ను Update చేసుకోవచ్చు.
