ORDER:
In the reference read above, the Election Commission of India has announced the Schedule for Biennial Elections to Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council from two Graduate Constituencies, one Teacher Constituency, and also from one Local Authority Constituency.As
per the schedule the Poll will be held on 22.03.2019 (Friday) and counting of votes on 26.03.2019 (Tuesday)
The poll shall be held for the following four (4) constituencies:-
1.East-WestGodavariGraduates;
2. Krishna-GunturGraduates;
3.Srikakulam-Vizianagaram-VisakhapatnamTeachers;
4. VisakhapatnamLocalAuthorities.
In this context, the Governmen there by authorizethe Collectors & District Magistrates ofabove said Districts to declare a local holiday, if necessary, on the day before poll (21.03.2019),on the day of poll (22.03.2019), on the day of counting of votes (26.03.2019) for Offices/Institutions where polling and counting centers are established for the on going biennial Elections to Andhra Pradesh Legislative Councilfrom Graduates,Teachers and Local
authorities’ Constituencies.On local holidays theTreasuries, Sub-Treasuries and all other Offices/ Institutions in the District will how ever function a as usual
