Press Note- from Finance Department regarding Enhancement of DA to State Govt Emloyees and Pensioners

(PRESS NOTE)

Date of the Decision

Subject: Enhancement of Dearness Allowance to State Government employees and Dearness Relief to the pensioners w.e.f 01-01-2018 at the following rates:

(a)  (i) Revissed Pay Scales, 2015 @1.572% raising it from to 25.676% yo 27.248%

      (ii) UGC Scales of Pay, 2006 @3% of pay raising it from 139% to 142%

(b) Sanction of ad-hoc increse to the Part-Time Village Revenue Assistants @RS 300/- p.m from 01.01.2018 to 01.06.2018.

Expenditure involved: Rs.513.13 Cores per annum

Number of benficiaries:

1.All Government Employees (nos) -4.49.000.

2.All Government Pensioner (nos) -3,57,000

3.All part Time Assistants and Village Revenue Assistants (nos) -23,287
