All Regional Joint Directors of School Education and District Educational Officers in the State care informed that, Govt. vide reference cited (Copy enclosed) has issued orders for opening of English Medium Porollel Sections in ol Model Primary Schools and in other primary schools in the state subject to the following:

1. Porollel English Medium shall be started in Model Primory ond Primary Schools by opening of Class from the academic year 2018-19 and gradually increasing each further closs Upto Closs V from the next Consequent OCodemic years
2. Gram Panchyat and School Monagement Committee resolutions would be essentical for starting parallel medium of instructions in English medium without diluting the ongoing telugu medium of teaching.
3. A second set of trained teachers shall be provided for teaching English Medium sections in all those schools without compromising the periods and teachers allocated for telugu medium teaching subject to fulfilling the rotionalizing norms.
4. Declaration of the Headmaster should be obtained that they would focilitote teaching primary classes in English medium from the Academic Year 2018-19 onwards They should also obtain declaration of those teochers Willing to Undertoke this method of teaching to Undergo the reduired English proficiency fest, relevonf frdining (Online ond offline) for acduiring skills for teaching in English Medium, in preporation for introduction of English Medium in their schools.
5. There should be adequote infrastructure focilities with additional clossrooms to introduce English Medium ond cadequate lond/site with scope for construction of additional classrooms in future, if required.
