ifre atteffion of all the Regional Jcrint Directors of School Education and the
District Educational Officers in the State is invited to the reference read above (Copy
enclosed) wherein it is informed that the Ministry of Human Resource Development
Department, Govt.of lndia has decided to hold a nation-rride campaign on 31th
October, 2016, the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhai Patel, and subsequently for a
week upto 6th November,2016, to honourthe memory his decisive efforts in unifying a
diverse country like lndia, so as to crearte a single political, socio-economic and
administrative entity for governance under lndependent lndia.
ln this connection, all the RJDSEs/ DEOs are informed that the follouring
activities/events are to be conducted in Schools from October 31 - November 6, 2016
to be built around the theme of unification, strengthening and bonding of the nation, that
can be carried in memory of the great 'Urrifier' that was Sardar Patel, by Schools in the
Country:
